2025 Hangzhou Urban Water Expo: Pioneering Smart Water Solutions for a Sustainable Future
The water sector grapples with high energy consumption (25%-30% of municipal operational costs), inefficient maintenance, and outdated infrastructure, hindering urban-rural water security and ecological progress. On April 17, 2025, the Hangzhou Urban Water Expo, hosted by the China Urban Water Supply and Drainage Association, launched at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. Centered on “technological innovation and green integration”, it gathered global experts, government delegates, and 500+ enterprises to showcase end-to-end solutions from source management to smart water supply, driving the industry toward efficiency, intelligence, and low-carbon transformation.
As a key exhibitor, Shanghai Yimai showcased its high-efficiency permanent magnetic electric motors, vertical multi-stage centrifugal pumps and so on. Our single stage end suction pumps, enhanced by intelligent and green optimization, extended service life from 3 to 8 years in a Zhejiang rural water project, cutting maintenance costs by 65%. During opening day, through immersive demonstrations and professional explanations, our team members visually demonstrated full-chain capabilities in technology research and development, intelligent manufacturing, and service operation to the clients. The expo attracted over a hundred clients, with 23 advancing to procurement stages including the submersible sewage pump, end suction pump and vertical multi-stage pump!
Compared with traditional equipment, our Yimai products such as single stage In-line circulation pumps, sewage pumps and end suction volute pumps can save energy by more than 30% and can achieve full-process visual and refined control.
